In the 70s, 80s, and early 90s I worked as a glass mechanic installing glass in residential and commercial construction. During the early 70s and 80s my wife and I also ran a craft business selling handmade items at local craftfairs. I even won several blue ribbons for my woodworking at the NC state fair.
Once I became interested in magic we changed our business to a company called “Clown and Party Magic; where I performed as a magician and magical party clown at birthday parties, company picnics, church events, and store grand openings. I also built new and repaired older magical props for the local magic shop.
In my early twenties while helping my brother build a magical effect for a middle school school project.
Retired semi-pro
I like close-up, parlor, and stage magic. Plus rebuilding older magic props.
Performing at local events with my wife and kids.
The friendships and magical knowledge shared at the meetings and events
While I don’t perform publicly any more I still enjoy redoing older magic props donated to the club.
